all about the

PORTRAIT
EXPERIENCE

This isn’t about stiff poses or forced smiles. It’s about presence—capturing the way you move, express, and connect in this unique and beautiful season of your life. My portrait sessions encompass everything from creative portraits to business headshots.

Here, you’ll find everything you need to know about the portrait experience, investment, and what to expect when working with me.

MY PORTRAIT WORK IS BEST DESCRIBED AS

SOULFUL,
TIMELESS,
EDITORIAL.

A quiet, artful approach to portrait photography where soft light, natural movement, and cinematic framing come together to create imagery that feels both intimate and beautifully composed. I capture fleeting moments with an artist’s precision—portraits that feel both modern and timeless.

if

    YOU'RE LOOKING FOR:

ARTISTIC, POETIC IMAGERY

Beautiful and refined aesthetics that highlight your unique personality.

A RELAXING AND EMPOWERING EXPERIENCE

A comfortable and effortless environment where you can simply be yourself. Your portrait session should feel natural, joyful, and truly reflective of you.

SOMETHING DIFFERENT THAN THE REST

My signature documentary style follows your authentic self. We're not aiming for stiff, over-posed imagery. If you want your images to feel more like artwork—something deeply personal and full of soul...

...THEN YOU'RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE.

HELLO,
I'M CLAIRE

It's a pleasure to meet you.

Growing up, I spent hours immersed in my family's photographs from the past, often accompanied by stories that would weave even deeper richness into every frame. I came to notice how a photograph holds more than an image; it carries an essence, a life that resonates through time. My work is to capture that essence for others, so their stories continue to echo gently in the threads of memory where future generations will find us, and where we often rediscover ourselves.

MY PHILOSOPHY

YOU NEED MORE THAN A PICTURE.

You need a way to see yourself, your story—clearly, beautifully, and honestly.

My work is about more than images. It’s about creating something you can hold onto for years to come.

So, what can you expect?

A BESPOKE PROCESS FROM START TO FINISH.

Every session is an intentional collaboration, designed to be effortless, personal, and deeply meaningful. My process ensures that every step—from our first conversation to your final gallery—feels intuitive and uniquely yours.
Great images start with ease and connection. Before your session, we'll take time to connect, so I can understand what feels natural to you. During our session, we’ll be in a space that reflects you, with a relaxed atmosphere—maybe even music you love. My approach is gentle and guided, allowing you to feel comfortable, confident, and present in the moment.

final delivery

Once the session is complete, I'll begin editing your images. Your finished gallery will be delivered within 2 to 3 business weeks.

I shoot on both digital and film (upon request), and use 100% natural light to create images that feel warm, editorial-forward, and organic. Light isn’t just an element in my work—it’s a presence that shapes each image with depth and quiet emotion. My approach to editing is modern, minimalist, and film-forward. You'll find I deliver work in both natural, painterly tones and black and whites. My editing and retouching preserves who you are without over-editing.

We’ll capture those classic portraits,  but my focus is really on the in-between moments—the way you naturally move, express, and exist in the space we find ourselves.   My goal is to create images that feel like memories, embodying who you truly are in this season of life. I’ll gently guide you, not with stiff directions, but with encouragement to be fully yourself—to move, to let go. Because the magic happens in the freedom, the motion, and the moments that are anything but posed.
